Description
This Blended Standard First Aid and CPR Level C/AED course is ideal for individuals who need first aid and CPR training for workplace compliance or wish to acquire essential life-saving skills for personal preparedness. This comprehensive training combines an online self-paced module with hands-on in-class instruction, ensuring participants gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively in emergencies.
Certification
Participants will receive a 3-year, Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR Level C/AED certificate, widely recognized across industries and workplaces.
Course Details
- Online Component: A self-paced, 6-hour module covering foundational first aid and CPR knowledge. Participants can complete this component at their convenience before the in-class session. – Access is given to the modules within 24 hours after registering.
- In-Class Component: An 8-hour practical session focusing on skill application, emergency response techniques, and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) usage. This will occur at our physical location:

- Comprehensive Training: Covers first aid and CPR skills tailored for workplace requirements, community preparedness, or home emergencies. Topics include managing injuries, handling cardiac or respiratory emergencies, and using an AED.
- Workplace Compliance: Meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards, including compliance with WSIB Regulation 1101 for workplaces with 5 or more staff.
- Latest Guidelines: Training incorporates the most up-to-date first aid and CPR standards, ensuring participants receive effective and accurate instruction.
- Blended Learning Flexibility: The online component provides flexibility to learn at your own pace, while the in-class session ensures hands-on practice and real-time feedback from certified instructors.
- Convenient Scheduling: The online component must be completed prior to attending the in-class session. Certificates must be shown to the instructor. Please have them printed or saved to your phone before attending onsite. Participants may reschedule their in-class date up to 72 hours before the selected session, offering flexibility for busy schedules.
